LPG cylinder price increases from today

The price of LPG Gas Cylinder Price has increased from Monday. LPG prices in India have been increased due to the increase in LPG prices internationally. The 14.2-kg non-subsidized LPG cylinder has become costlier by Rs 11.50 in the national capital. According to the website of Indian Oil, earlier it was priced at Rs 581.50 in Delhi, which has now become Rs 593 per cylinder. Similarly, in Kolkata, it has now been priced at Rs 616. Earlier it was sold here for Rs 584.50. Thus, in Kolkata, the subsidy of 14.2 kg LPG cylinder has increased by Rs 31.5. This increase in prices has come into effect from June 1.

Talking about Mumbai, the price of non-subsidized kitchen gas cylinder has increased by Rs 11.50. Earlier it was sold here for Rs 579, which has now become Rs 590.50. Talking about Chennai, the price of non-subsidized kitchen gas cylinder has increased by Rs 37. It was earlier sold in Chennai for Rs 569.50, which is now being sold for Rs 606.50 from June 1.

However, the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana will not have any impact on the rise in LPG cylinder prices. The beneficiaries of PMUY will receive a free cylinder by 30 June. It is to be noted that Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had announced to provide free LPG cylinders for three months to the beneficiaries of Ujjwala Yojana under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana.

Earlier in May, the price of LPG cylinder was reduced. In the national capital, the price per cylinder was reduced from Rs 744 to Rs 581.50 in May. At that time, the price of LPG cylinder was reduced due to the fall in LPG prices internationally.
