India will not accept POK Medical College medical certificates

India has thwarted Pakistan's conspiracy under the pretext of texting. Students studying medicine in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir cannot practice in India. A public notice has been issued by the Medical Council of India. India will not accept POK Medical College medical certificates.

This means that students with a medical degree in POK will not be allowed to practice modern medicine in India. A statement from MCI said, "Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh are part of India. However, Pakistan has forcibly occupied parts of it. Therefore, anyone who has studied medicine at POK Medical College cannot practice modern medicine in India.

Children who study medicine at POK are not eligible to register for medical practice under the Medical Council Act 1954. The MCI's announcement comes a month after the Jammu and Kashmir High Court's order. He called on the MCI and the Ministry of External Affairs to review whether medical students studying at POK would be allowed to practice medicine in India.
