Kozhikode plane crash: 45 passengers recover from hospital discharge

New Delhi: An Air India Express crashed while landing in Kozhikode, Kerala. Forty-five passengers have now recovered from the crash and returned home. This was informed by Air India Express. The Air India Express said that 45 passengers injured in the plane crash had been discharged from the hospital.

An Air India Express carrying passengers from Dubai crashed while landing at Kozhikode airport during heavy rains on Friday night. Fourteen people, including two pilots, were killed and several others were injured in the crash.

Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said on Saturday that 18 people had been hospitalized, 23 were discharged and three others were seriously injured in the plane crash. Today, the number of discharged passengers has risen to 65. The injured passengers of the IX-137 are being treated at various hospitals in Kozhikode, the airlines said in a statement.
