Pre-booking of Samsung Galaxy Note 20 starts in India, starting price of Rs 77999

GURUGRAM, 6 AUGUST | Samsung announced on Thursday that pre-booking for its Galaxy Note 20 series has now started in India. The 6.7-inch Galaxy Note 20 (eight GB plus 256 GB) has been priced at Rs 77,999 in the country, while the 6.9-inch Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G (12 GB plus 256 GB) will be available for Rs 104,999. Customers pre-booking the Galaxy Note 20 from Samsung.com and major retail stores will get a profit of Rs 7,000, while pre-booking the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G will get a profit of Rs 10,000.

The benefits can be redeemed on Samsung Shop app, among other products including Galaxy Buds Plus, Galaxy Buds Live, Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Tabs.

The flagship devices will be available for sale in the last week of this month.

"We are also launching our first 5G smartphone in India, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G," said Mohandeep Singh, senior vice president of mobile business at Samsung India.

Consumers can avail cashback of up to Rs 6,000 on purchase of Galaxy Note 20 and up to Rs 9,000 on purchase of Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G through HDFC Bank Credit and Debit Card.

Existing Galaxy users can also get an additional discount of Rs 5,000 by purchasing this new device by giving it to their existing Galaxy device.

The company said, this brings the total profit to Rs 19,000, giving customers the best chance of pre-booking.

The Note 10 has a 4300 mAh battery, while the Note 20 Ultra has a strong battery of 4,500 mAh.

The Galaxy Note 20 series features S Pen.

With Microsoft Windows integration, consumers can access the mobile app directly from their Windows 10 PC on a smartphone without disrupting the workflow.

The Galaxy Note 20 comes with Mystic Bronze and Mystic Green colors, while the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G will be available in Mystic Bronze and Mystic Black colors.

The Galaxy Note Ultra comes with Gorilla Glass 7.

The company said that the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G support E-SIM by Airtel and Jio and soon the service is going to start on Vodafone as well.
