The central government has issued an SOP to start serial and film production

New Delhi: The Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the media and film industry was released on Sunday. Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javedkar announced that the SOP was brought in view of the corona infection. It has been made mandatory to use masks and sanitizers and maintain social distance during the shooting of serials and films.

Javedkar said the film and TV series could now be launched. For this, people employed in this industry have to follow social distance and wear masks. Only those who are in front of the camera or those who are shooting will be released In addition, makeup artists and hair stylists have to wear PPE kits and take social distance.

In addition, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has issued a detailed SOP to resume shooting of the series. The SOP calls for thermal screening, face cover / mask use and a 6-foot social distance at entry points to prevent infection. Prakash Javedkar said the SOP was finalized after consultation with the Ministry of Health and Home Affairs.
