PM Modi worried over rising corona cases in the country, will hold meeting with chief ministers of 7 states today

New Delhi: Corona cases in the country are increasing rapidly. The current situation is that the total corona cases in the country are now over 55 lakhs. In such a situation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a review meeting on Wednesday with the Chief Ministers of the states in which Corona is growing rapidly. PM Modi has decided to hold a meeting with the Chief Ministers of 7 states to formulate a strategy to prevent corona infection in such states. Please tell that this meeting will take place at 5 pm. PM Modi will meet Chief Ministers of 7 states most affected by Corona through video conferencing. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been in action mode since the beginning to stop the Corona transition. Through this high level virtual meeting with the Chief Ministers, Modi PM will review the status, preparedness and management of Covid-19 in different states.

Let us know that the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Delhi and Punjab will be included in the country, because the condition of Corona in these states is not good and Corona cases are increasing rapidly. Significantly, the highest number of cases in the country are being found in Maharashtra. While more than 63 percent of the country's active cases of Covid-19 are from these seven states and union territories. A total of 65.5 percent confirmed cases and 77 percent deaths have also been reported from here.

Recently, cases of Kovid-19 have started increasing rapidly in Punjab and Delhi. In Maharashtra, Punjab and Delhi, the rate of deaths from Corona also increased by 2 percent. In Punjab and Uttar Pradesh, the positivity rate is higher than the national average of 8.52%. PM Modi has been meeting regularly on the situation in Corona, the last meeting was on August 11, in which the chief ministers of the 10 most affected states attended.

The central government is fully supporting the states and union territories to control the corona. They are being given all kinds of facilities, so that these states can improve their healthcare and medical infrastructure. In order to enhance the clinical management capacity of the doctors posted in the ICU, ICU tele-consultations have been arranged. It is working in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, AIIMS, New Delhi.

In today's meeting, PM Modi will discuss with Chief Ministers of states about medical oxygen and covid healthcare facilities in hospitals through a high level review meeting. Will know their needs and will also explain the future action plan. The Center is also regularly appointing multi-disciplinary teams in states and union territories. Apart from this, there is no delay in taking appropriate steps. The goal of the central government is to help in the maintenance of positive cases, surveillance, testing and effective clinical management. The team sent by the Center is also guiding the local authorities on timely diagnosis and follow-up challenges.
