Corona cases exceeded 56 thousand in Pakistan, 1,167 deaths so far

Islamabad: Coronavirus cases are increasing rapidly in Pakistan due to the relaxation in lockdown before Eid. On Monday, 1,748 new patients of the corona virus have been confirmed, bringing the number of people infected with Kovid-19 to 56,349 in the country, while 1,167 people have died so far from the deadly virus.

Sindh and Punjab are the most affected by the corona virus in Pakistan. According to the National Health Ministry, 22,491 cases of Kovid-19 have been reported in Sindh, 20,077 cases in Punjab, 7,905 in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, 3,407 in Balochistan, 1,641 in Islamabad, 619 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 209 in Ghulam Kashmir. 

In the last 24 hours, 34 people have died in Pakistan due to the deadly epidemic, after which the death toll has reached 1,167. At the same time, a total of 17,482 patients have been cured of the deadly infectious. So far, 4 lakh 83 thousand 656 corona tests have been conducted across the country, including 10,049 tests on Sunday.

Let us know that in the past, on health matters, Prime Minister Imran Khan's special assistant Zafar Mirza warned that if people did not follow preventive measures, the corona epidemic in the country will increase at a fast pace.
